I’ve seen a lot of construction sites around Tehran:
When I asked my uncle if there are lots of construction
sites in other Iranian cities, he said there are less, because Tehran is the
capital.
I understand the necessity of these construction projects,
but I think it breaks the harmony and beauty of the city. A few nights ago,
there was construction on a sidewalk, and I had to walk on the edge of the road
– swishing cars and motorcycles and all – to get by.
I will not miss the ongoing construction in Tehran.
