Will Miss #31: Seeing Tourists in Shiraz

Here's a list of some tourists I saw in Shiraz:

- an Australian couple
- a group of Italians
- a German couple
- a group of Chinese men

In Tehran, you don't see this many tourists in the span of 2-3 days, presumably because while Tehran is a lively and fascinating city, it just doesn't have as much history as Shiraz, which is, after all, the cultural capital of the Persian people. Tehran is wonderful to visit, but you won't be seeing the foundations of Persian civilization while there.

That being said, I will miss seeing tourists in Shiraz.
